Duck Fan ❤️ Ornaments

Glazed-porcelain tree ornament featuring a hand-painted heart of real-gold luster, placed right over home of the University of Oregon Ducks — Eugene, Oregon. Frosted Green glaze.

(I made a bunch of these for my daughter to give to college buddies as Christmas presents and made some extras while I was at it … for any of the Duck fans in your life!)

• approx 4.5″l x 1.5″w x 1/8″ thick
• hand-sanded to ensure smooth bottoms and edges

Fun Fact: Gold luster is an overglaze, meaning that it’s applied over the vitrified, glaze-fired piece and requires a third firing in the kiln. Luster is made of particles of real gold suspended in a liquid medium, usually a pine oil resin.
